What power stations do you recommend?

I’m torn between Bluetti, Anker, Jackery, and EcoFlow. I’d love to hear which model you’ve used and your thoughts on each one. Thanks in advance! I’m really liking the EcoFlow, but I also see good things in the others for different reasons.

Anker is the best when it comes to small power banks. You can’t go wrong with them! Jackery is overhyped, despite their heavy advertising.

Anker’s medium-sized power stations aren’t always the most reliable, but their customer service is amazing. I’ve had great luck with their smaller power banks, some of which are over 10 years old and still working. Though I always have to bring a few extra micro USB cords with me, haha!

Pecron, EcoFlow, Bluetti, and Anker are all solid choices. Jackery and GoalZero are good too, but you’ll end up paying a lot more for fewer features. These brands mostly rely on their reputation. I own several Pecron units, and I’m happy with them. I’ve got the E600LFP, E1000LFP (new), E1500LFP, and E3600LFP. Let me know if you have any questions. Pecron offers great value for your money. For app experience, EcoFlow and Bluetti are among the best.

I’ve been happy with my Bluetti. It’s going on its fourth season with me and has done everything I needed it to do.

I picked up a refurbished EcoFlow River on eBay last year for $115. It’s 288Wh and does 600 watts. It’s not the latest tech and won’t last as long, but it was cheap and works well for running air pumps, fans, and lights.

I’ve had great experiences with Anker. I have a lot of their products, including two of their larger power stations. They charge quickly, run quietly, and have great features. I won’t buy anything from Jackery, though, because their ads are so intrusive and there are much better options out there.

What size are you looking for, and what do you want to power with it? I’ve got an Anker and a GoLabs that I picked up for cheap as my first power stations. They both work great for my needs, which are mostly just recharging phones and occasional lights and speakers on trips. My trips usually last no more than a week, and even with three of us last year, we were fine with the GoLabs for a five-night trip, just recharging phones and backup batteries.

EcoFlow is a great choice. Make sure it’s a LiFePO4 unit, as they last many more cycles and are safer. You might also want to check out sales on EcoFlow over at r/preppersales, as they often find good deals.

I have both an EcoFlow and a Bluetti, and I’ve had no issues with either. At this point, I think any major reputable brand will work fine. Some have faster charge times, different connections, and other features, so you’ll need to figure out what works best for you. Just make sure to pick one with an LFP battery.

Anker has always been my number 1 choice.

I picked up a Tesla Powerwall 2 off Craigslist.

I asked ChatGPT to compare the power stations, and I ended up choosing the EcoFlow River3 Pro. Until yesterday, it came with a free 45W solar panel, which is small but better than nothing. Consumer Reports recommends EcoFlow, and Wirecutter favors Bluetti. I haven’t gotten mine yet, so I’ll update you once I do.
