Recommended footwear for outdoors

I’ve been a merrell fan for several years. Now I have the opportunity to get new shoes I feel like trying out other brands, but I’m not sure what to try out and what is worth spending on. I’d appreciate any recommendations and any information from you guys.

There are lots of fantastic brands available. Renowned footwear brands like Vasque, Oboz, and Keen are all of good quality. The fit of the shoes is more important than the brand. Put another way, the appropriate shoe is the one that fits. Locate your nearby outdoor retailer and begin putting on shoes.

I’ve been digging my Lems trailheads for general wear, light hiking, disc golf. Haven’t tried their true zero-drop options, and I’d probably wait for a sale. Worth looking at some other options anyway.

Hiker Kenentrek. I will never return to Keen. The contrast between night and day. They cost an additional $100 per pair, but they have lasted at least twice as long as keen.
