After sharing my original design for a Nalgene clip collar, I received several requests for a version compatible with narrow-mouth bottles. Here it is! I’ve designed this new version to help our community carry their bottles more conveniently. Check out the image of the new design and let me know what you think!
This is really innovative, thanks for making this and sharing it with us!

Glad you like it! Always happy to contribute to the community.
Incredible work, I’d happily pay for one of these!
Great concept! I’m also designing a reusable collar for smart water bottles that fit Sawyer filters. I’m aiming for a tool-less, reusable design that’s easy to use without needing to cut ties to adjust. Any interest in collaborating or should I continue solo?
@Flynn
I’d love to give it a try if you’re open to collaboration. Your project sounds fantastic!

Absolutely, feel free to experiment! My goal is just to create useful tools, not profit. Here are some specifics: the design should be easy to handle, durable, and must be able to support a full bottle’s weight. Ideally, it should also be easy to carry through airport security and attach to a bottle post-purchase.
@Flynn
Thanks for the details! I’ll start brainstorming some ideas and share my designs with you soon.

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with. Make sure the carabiner orientation feels natural like the Nalgene cap loop.
@Flynn
Noted on the orientation. I’ll make adjustments to ensure it works seamlessly. Thanks for the tip!

Exactly, that’s why I use two zip ties. The design should allow for some movement of the carabiner to adjust as needed.
Cool!
This is fantastic! You should share this in communities focused on functional printing.

Thanks! I’m just glad to be able to contribute.
The integrated GoPro stand is a brilliant addition.
This design is really clever! Thanks for sharing it with us.
How do you all dry your narrow mouth Nalgenes? I find they take forever to air dry after washing. Any tips?
Here’s an alternative idea: replace the original cap strap with a thin paracord for easier use and versatility.
