Collapsible Pole for Lantern Recommendations?

I’m looking for a collapsible pole for a lantern, similar to this one on Amazon. While it looks close, I’ve read mixed reviews about durability and rust issues on similar products, so I’m hoping for a reliable alternative.

Any suggestions for a solid, foldable lantern pole that’s easy to set up, or should I just go for the Campingmoon one?

This might be a little different than what you’re after, but check out the SylvanSport WayLight.

I use a shepherd’s hook meant for hanging plants. Works great for lanterns too!

I’d recommend this Coleman Tripod Grill and Lantern Hanger.

I was looking at cooking tripods to see if they could double as lantern hangers. If there’s one specifically for lanterns, that might be a better multi-purpose option.

I have the Campingmoon pole you linked, and it’s fantastic.

Any issues with rust or trouble planting it in the ground?

No rust issues at all, and I’m in the rainy PNW. It’s easy to plant, too—it has a pile driver feature, so you just press it into the ground by moving the top shaft up and down. Getting it out can be a little tricky sometimes!

I have two of these poles and they’re great. Just remember to wipe them down before packing away to prevent rust.
