My parents are spending their summers camping around France in their iKamper (car roof tent setup). They’re pretty much set with all their camping gear, but they’re still on the hunt for good wine glasses.
They prefer the feel of a classic stemmed glass but need something unbreakable and compact that won’t take up too much space. They’re leaning towards plastic rather than metal (since it affects the taste) and definitely want to avoid silicone.
I’ve seen recommendations for the GSI Nesting Wine Glasses and the Joie Wine Glass To Go. Has anyone used these long-term and found that the bases hold up well even with frequent use? Or are there any other stackable, durable, and easy-to-store options you’d recommend?

The GSI Nesting glasses are fantastic; there’s just something about having a proper wine glass even while camping.
Totally agree, especially for wine bought right from a local vineyard! Trying to decide between the red or white wine size options (leaning towards the larger red ones).
@Hadi
I’ve used the stainless steel GSI Nesting glasses for about 5 years now. They’re amazing! I bought the steel version at the time, and they’re durable, hold a good amount, and keep drinks cool.
Wine is definitely a treat, even while camping! I’d suggest taking glass wine glasses in a hard case like a small Pelican Air with foam inserts. You could easily fit 2 red and 2 white glasses.

It’s both a luxury and a daily treat for them. Space is really tight, though—they’ve got a lot of gear like fridges, a Nespresso machine, and extra batteries. Plus, when I join them, I’ll need some space too! Looking for something durable but compact to avoid breaking or leaking.

People have even used shoes to drink champagne! You don’t always need a fancy setup.
