Just wrapped up Christmas. How was my pull?
I really love my Fire Maple. My friends questioned why I didn’t choose a Jetboil since I can afford one. I prefer the Fire Maple because it has a real handle, unlike the fabric one on the Jetboils.

Which model do you have? I’m excited to try mine out soon!

I lost my old Jetboil during a move, got a Fire Maple as a temporary solution, and ended up preferring it. It feels like it’s better quality.

Big fan of Fire Maple here too! I’ve used mine for about 10 years now, not just for camping but also for making coffee during long car trips.

I chose Fire Maple over Jetboil mainly for the price and because it functions just as well, without the brand name cost.
@Darcy
It’s not about function; the difference mentioned was the handle.

Right, I was just pointing out the value for money in terms of functionality. Thanks for the clarification.
I was hoping to receive a Zenbivy for Christmas, but no luck. Sounds like you got a great selection of gifts!

I did get the 25° Zenbivy quilt! I need to buy the sheet separately though, but I’m really happy with it.
Nice haul!
I use a Platypus filter and it’s been reliable even with highly questionable water sources. I also gifted myself a new tent this Christmas—I’m always looking for an excuse to add to my camping gear!
Really good selection. Now go have some fun with it.
Great choices! Kilos gear isn’t talked about much here. What drew you to their pad? Also, if you’re into backpacking, consider the Fire Maple Petrel stove for its weight efficiency.
Fire Maple is excellent; I tested a few of their models last summer.
Oh, nice haul! That’s sick!
The Kilos Gear pad has been solid for me—comfortable and no leaks. I think you’ll like your new gear.
Nice haul, enjoy!
Great haul, my friend! Merry Christmas!
I received a gas stove and felt pretty spoiled.
