Those lanterns must really set the mood! I used to use older oil wick lanterns and small propane lanterns before LEDs became popular. They have such a unique ambiance. These days, I sometimes pack a Fire Maple isobutane candle, which runs on the same fuel as my stove.
Hope your night stays warm and cozy. I still need to season my new stove and set up my winter tent, but it’s been brutally cold with high winds here lately.

I had to look up that Fire Maple candle after reading this. Looks like something I’d love for relaxing by the lake, especially when I don’t feel like starting a full fire. Thanks for the idea!
Do you have any night photos of the lanterns in action? I bet it looks super cozy out there!

Yeah, big missed opportunity if you didn’t snap any nighttime shots with those vintage lanterns. We’d all love to see that glow!
How often do you need to tend to the stove? It looks pretty small—do you have to check it more than once an hour?
Your setup looks great! I’ve always liked teepee-style tents—they seem easy to set up, though I’ve never tried one myself. I’m hoping to do some winter camping too, but I think I’ll start with the backyard first to test things out.
Those lanterns are absolutely beautiful.
The great thing about older lanterns is they often provide a little bit of heat too!
Quick question about your tent—is that a OneTigris model? Would you recommend it? Anything you wish it had or did differently?
How warm did it stay inside the tent? Looks like a comfy spot!
How do you manage to transport all those glass lanterns without breaking them? Any special tricks?
Love the vibe! I might bring along some vintage lanterns myself next time I camp. Thanks for the inspiration!
