I’m looking for a solid glove liner to use for layering with mittens when I’m out doing snow sports. Ideally, I’d also like something I can wear on its own for everyday use in colder temperatures when waterproofing isn’t necessary. Any recommendations?
I really like Dakine liners. They’re reliable and comfortable.
I use these:

Thin, breathable liners work best for me inside mittens. They let my fingers warm up the inside of the mitten really well.

I agree! I’ve been using these for three winters now. They work great alone or paired with REI’s gauntlet 3-finger gloves. My hands sweat a lot, and these handle moisture pretty well.

I’m worried the Merino will start to wear out quickly. Have you had any issues with durability?
Check out the liners from Seirus:
My favorite is the Icebreaker Quantum liner glove. Pair those with Outdoor Research Flurry Mitts, and you’ve got an amazing combo for active days in the cold.
