I recently bought an REI Campwell cot and am wondering what sleeping pad would work best with it. Any suggestions based on your experiences
Try the Exped megamat, inflate it to about 75% of its capacity. It really feels like you’re sleeping on a regular mattress!

I use the Exped on my Coleman Cot and keep it inflated to about 75-80% of its capacity. If it’s too hard, it feels like it’s going to launch you off if you turn over in your sleep.

Exped mats are excellent but quite pricey.

If you’re looking for a deal, check out the REI used gear section. You’ll need to be an REI member, which is a lifetime membership with frequent promotions.

Thanks for the tip! Unfortunately, there’s no REI store in my state, but the membership perks sound great.

No worries, they ship items from their used gear section online. Plus, there’s a 30-day return policy. Right now, they have Exped mats at 40% off due to minor issues like slight discoloration.

A used gear website for REI? That’s new to me! Minor discoloration doesn’t bother me at all. I’m definitely going to check this out. Thanks for the great advice!

I also recommend checking out the REI used gear section online. I got an Exped mat for a great price, and they shipped it for just $90.
Consider the Lost Horizon mattress. I’ve used it over 10 times on my camping trips and wouldn’t go without it.
I won some yoga mats at a work raffle and have been using them for camping. They are surprisingly comfortable and easy to pack.
I bought a couple of Kingcamp 4-inch thick double self-inflating camping pads recently. They are very comfortable and well made. I considered the Exped Megamat 10 but couldn’t justify the price for two of them.
