What can I add to my tent to make it stand out from the others?

Customize a flag or t-shirt with your face on it. Thread the tent poles through the arms of the shirt or the grommets on the flag.

Knitwear. My wife has a very popular luggage brand so she knit a small sweater as a luggage tag.
Have a knitter make up a sweater shaped thingy out of synthetic yarn and let it flap in the breeze.

Create something similar to a tent cap that you can slide your poles into if you know how to knit or crochet.
