I have the same stove! I like how compact it is compared to regular butane stoves, and the flame control is really nice. I’ve used it a few times, including just last weekend, and it works well overall. That said, I do have a few small complaints:
- The ignition button requires a good amount of force, so I have to stabilize it with my other hand to prevent it from sliding.
- The pleather strap for keeping it shut feels cheap—it would be nicer with a mechanical latch.
- The legs don’t lock in place when deployed. They shift a little, which isn’t a safety issue but can be annoying.
Still, these are minor issues, and I think it’s a great unit. I was worried about heat beneath the stove, but after running it for a while, I found the ground below only slightly warm.

That’s interesting! Mine ignites by turning the knob instead of pressing a button. The pleather strap could definitely use improvement, but do your legs not lock when you open them?

No, my legs don’t lock either. Mine is a couple of years old and uses a button-press ignition in the middle of the dial. It seems like they’ve made some updates since then!

Yeah, it seems like they’ve improved the ignition, but unfortunately, the pleather strap is still the same.
This post sold me on it—I feel like I need one now!

There are so many compact stove designs on the market now; you might find one with a style you like even more!
It looks similar to the Snowpeak Home & Camp Burner. Snowpeak is often overpriced, though, so a good alternative isn’t a bad thing. Does this one have a copper tank warming strip like the Snowpeak?

It definitely resembles the Snowpeak, but I’m not sure which company introduced this style first. This one doesn’t have a tank warming strip, but the heat radiates enough from the burner that I don’t see it being an issue unless it’s extremely cold.
The compact design is really cool! You might want to consider a windscreen, though. I’ve found that my regular butane stove struggles even with light wind.
I’m really happy with mine—it’s so compact and convenient.

Same here! I’ve even used it in the kitchen when the main stove was too crowded.
