Telescope Observatory Tent with room to sleep?

I was wondering if y’all have any recommendations for an observatory tent with a spare room big enough to sleep. I was looking at the Kendrick tents but they don’t make it anymore, which is a bummer, and I’m not able to find any other good alternatives. Now. I’m not a seasoned camper and I do not know much about tents, so I was hoping if you guys might have any ideas or any regular tent to recommendations that I can use for my Astro photography session.

I’m like 99.9% sure that this tent is unsuitable for what you want, but the fact it exists at all is hilarious to me and I’ve never seen anyone talk about it, so… The Decathlon Skyview has a huge dome roof to see the sky. But every time I see it, I feel like it’s the tent equivalent of that car Homer designed on the Simpsons.

To be honest, the dome is very cool. Moreover, I enjoy the vestibule feature in case it breaks down. However, holy cow! I think the fan system is the silliest thing I have ever seen. They seem to have fixed a nonexistent problem, in my opinion.

Yes. Since the manufacturer is French and there aren’t many permitted non-electric campgrounds in France, I completely see how the product came to be. However, it’s a little unsettling to think of what may occur if the fan stopped functioning while you were asleep. I suppose there would be sufficient ventilation such that extending your arm would enough to fill it with air. Still, that’s a terrifying possibility, yikes.

They also use that white, empty area to record all of their setup movies. While it makes sense in most cases, this one definitely ought to have been recorded at an area where, well, you could see the sky. Alternatively, have the ability to raise the camera from inside the tent without revealing the ceiling of any random building.

Yes, and sort of—the stakes aren’t really that high.

Costco has the CORE 12-person Instant Cabin Tent with Built-In LED Lighting System . Without the rainfly the roof just a mesh.

12 person tents are huge and a pain to set up, even if they’re “instant” pop up tents. I helped a buddy set up his 12p tent once. He never brought that tent again to future camping trips.

All I’m looking for is a big object that can accommodate both the campers and the telescope.

Although I don’t possess this tent, I have seen setups on YouTube. It looks manageable, even though it is really densely packed.
