For Canadians, I recommend the MEC Deluxe Pillow. It has an air bladder with a memory foam layer and a soft brushed fabric cover. It weighs 114g for the medium size and packs down small. The valve lets you adjust firmness by inflation.

I made a DIY version of this setup using an ultralight hiking pillow with a memory foam insert. It weighs 229g—not as light as the original, but it works for me. I pack it flat against the back of my pack instead of rolling it.
@Gale
This sounds like a cheaper alternative to the Nemo Fillo or Fillo Elite, and it seems just as comfortable while weighing about the same as the Elite. Good to know!
The problem with the Fillo is its shape—it feels unstable, like trying to use a balloon as a pillow. I found an $8 inflatable pillow to be more comfortable.

I agree—it definitely feels like a balloon.
How does the Therm-a-Rest small perform for side sleeping? Is it thick enough to provide support?
I’ve considered the Nemo Fillo line, but reviews seem mixed. I’ve also looked at thicker inflatable pillows like the Sea to Summit ones, but they don’t seem very comfortable.

Inflatable pillows generally feel like balloons to me, but some people prefer them for the space and weight savings. For side sleeping, the Therm-a-Rest small works if you use the cinch at the back. However, keep expectations realistic—it’s not a home pillow. For better side-sleeping support, the medium size does a better job when cinched.
I’m 6’1" with broad shoulders, and I find it comfortable enough.

I’ll probably go with the medium then. Thanks!

What kind of camping are you planning to do?

Mostly car camping or walk-in sites, with occasional 1-2 night backpacking trips.

In that case, the medium is a great choice. It’s worth the extra comfort for those types of trips.
I’m not a fan of air-filled pillows either. I use a Therm-a-Rest medium along with a Wise Owl medium Snoozy. They’re bulky, but the extra comfort is worth it. To save space, I pack them flat at the bottom of my backpack and stuff everything else on top. It’s more efficient than rolling or cinching.
I haven’t found the perfect pillow yet. I’ve tried hammock gear down, Therm-a-Rest, and ultralight air pillows with a buff wrapped around them. The Therm-a-Rest is the most comfortable, but it’s too heavy for hiking. I always bring it on canoe trips, though.
