Need an affordable/crappy cooler with great wheels for day beach use. Not 10 days of ice. Just 1. Igloo 316 or Igloo Glide series but with the giant wheels from Igloo Trailmate

I’m struggling to find something like this. Google SEO seems optimized to show me $450 Yeti coolers instead of $100 coolers. I don’t need it to be durable, just easy to drag across beach sand or gravel 2-3 times a year.

With just one day almost any cooler will do if you pre cool it the day before with ice. I have had great luck with the lifetime coolers for multiple days when pre cooling and they are cheap. I would go with lifetime

If it’s soft sand don’t bother. Get a $100 vevor balloon wheel cart and throw whatever cooler you have on it

You should be good as long as it’s flowing. If my memory serves me correctly, they are rated for an absurd amount of water—80k liters, maybe—and I’m not making that up. Best of luck and be careful.

Edit: As a last resort, you might try running some water through the filter with a drop of bleach in it to see if there’s any mold or other debris, although that’s doubtful if everything seems to be flowing smoothly.

I’m convinced that the only wheels worth a damn on the beach are those big balloon tires you get with a proper beach cart designed for fishing. They usually run a minimum of $150-200 and can go much higher, but one of those plus any cooler=an ideal beach rig.

This is the solution, OP. To save costs, you may also look for secondhand beach carts on the popular web marketplaces.
