Why did you send a message to the seller?

People just love to let others on the forum know their opinion on pricing.

Yeah, it’s called consumerism. Was that a bot response?

Exactly.

I was just asking if it was a typo. Why, are you a police officer?

FBI, actually. Keep it quiet though, we’re undercover on this case and don’t want to alert anyone.

You sound really grumpy
It helps me to think ‘this isn’t worth it to me’ rather than ‘this isn’t worth it’. Every purchase is a decision on what’s the best use of your money. For some, this will be worth it. It’s actually a decent deal in Canadian dollars. There will always be different opinions.
@Skyler
This price is just ridiculous.
I don’t get why you’re getting downvotes. It is ridiculous. To put it in perspective, $17,000 could pay for about 11 years of electricity for the average Canadian home. So, 11 years of electricity or this tent on a trailer. That’s just crazy.
@Aspen
Well, if someone is on minimum wage, they probably can’t afford it. So what?

Just trying to show that it’s pricey for what it is.

You haven’t really shown that it’s expensive, just that it’s expensive for someone making minimum wage. You didn’t compare it to similar products.
@Aspen
That analysis isn’t really relevant. It’s priced in Canadian dollars, and our minimum wage here is usually higher than $15 per hour.

It’s still a ridiculous price for what it is.
@Aspen
It’s not meant for people earning minimum wage.

Did I say it was?
Using minimum wage as a benchmark suggests you think it’s targeted at those earners
@Charlie
Not really
