How do you pack liquid/cream toiletries? [New to the hobby, have mercy on me]

I’m seeking creative suggestions on how you experienced bushcrafters pack items like face cleanser and moisturizer.

Before you judge, I have sensitive skin that gets dry and acne-prone, so I really need these items. I prefer not to buy travel-sized versions or contribute to plastic waste. Currently, I use small glass jars, which work fine, but I’m open to better methods. Thanks for any ideas!

Consider using unscented toiletries. Scented products attract insects and wildlife. If you can, keep them secured like you would food to avoid critters. Small reusable plastic containers are great for long-term use.

You might try scent-blocking bags like Loksak or Smelly Proof.

Tucking filled bottles into ziplock bags can help prevent leaks.

Nalgene has small bottles that work well. I also use silicone travel bottles from Amazon.

Silicone travel bottles are great for camping and travel. You can wash them out and reuse them. They also have ultralight options that are like small pouches but can be pricey.

Check out Litesmith. They have inexpensive options and other ultralight supplies.

+1 for Litesmith! Their prices are great, and they ship quickly. I use their mini jars for moisturizer and Vaseline on trips.

Find a bottle size that suits you. I use them for sunblock and powdered soap, just enough for my trips.

Check out r/heronebag for many ideas on packaging.

We use small squeeze bottles for hair and skin products in our travel toiletries bag. They’re under 10cm tall, so they save space.

I understand the struggle with sensitive skin. These bottles are cheap: Amazon link.

Which of those bottles fits a Sawyer Squeeze? I want to stop using Smartwater bottles.

I found mine really cheap on Aliexpress.

Little condiment containers work for larger volumes. For smaller amounts, I use contact lens cases—they hold a few days’ worth of product.

No judgment! I also have skin issues and keep my routine. I use tiny Nalgene bottles and silicone bottles from The Container Store. Recently, I bought 10ml & 20ml mini airless pump bottles from Aliexpress for travel.

I had success with thick products in Matador pouches. They’re easier to pack and get smaller as you use the product.

I use a variety of containers, including oversized melted straw containers for infrequently used items. For wipes, I use compressed cotton or dude wipes in a ziplock.

Coin towels are great! Thanks for the suggestions!
