Gave my Klean Kanteen a light sanding after 12 years

This could be a hit over at forums dedicated to long-lasting products.

They truly are fantastic. This canteen has accompanied me on countless adventures!

Despite my early carelessness, it has stood the test of time incredibly well, especially for the price.

We should start a forum for these! Mine looks almost artistic after 15 years, with a unique patina from being used in fires.

Mine was also covered in soot until I gave it a gentle sanding. It’s amazing how resilient these are.

The price varies with the finish, but that’s a great deal.

You guessed it!

I lost mine for three years after leaving it at my sister’s during a move. Just found it recently and it’s back in action!

Glad to hear it’s back with its rightful owner! Mine is an essential part of my camping gear.

I have two sizes, and they’re great, though the thin metal at the base is prone to denting. They’re invaluable for outdoor activities, especially the wide-mouth models.

Absolutely, as long as it’s a single-walled stainless steel model. Stick to reputable brands for safety.
