Cheapest truck mattress for warmth… anyone got good suggestions?

If you’re thinking about foam, be sure to have good airflow underneath the mattress. Without it, you could run into moisture or mold problems, especially if it stays in place for a while.

How about using a pallet for airflow? Works if you’ve got the space.

Honestly, this is some of the best advice I’ve seen here. Definitely worth keeping in mind.

We’ve been using an Ikea foam mattress in the back of our van, and it works great.

I repurposed a mattress from an old hide-a-bed. It fits perfectly and is surprisingly comfortable.
