Big ol' Nalgene Handle that I designed and 3D printed for a joke but decided I'm keeping it on!

Thanks! Would be great

You bet! It’s up there with an .stl now too although I haven’t printed it from an STL, just the 3mf which should give better results on the curves tbh. If your slicer can handle the 3mf version then that’s what I would recommend.

If you’re planning to mod it using the stl then disregard, but send me what you make!

@Ashton
Thank you!!

a piece of climbing rope looped above the top and a few turns of duct tape works just fine as a “handle” and takes all the wear off the cap strap. it adds as a place to clip a 'biner to, and if you ever come in need a piece of duct tape - there it is.

@Ashton
A good option for connoisseurs of the duct tape aesthetic!

Always good to have some duct tape handy for sure.

I could see this for sale in the impulse buy line before the check-out at REI.

That’s a huge compliment, thanks!

It definitely feels like the kind of thing you’d impulse buy without thinking too hard about it, but not regret buying either :grin:

Feel like I’ve seen this posted recently

Probably me, I posted on a couple of forums.

Does it work well?

I personally really like the way it feels to drink out of with a handle :grin:

I legitimately would take a moment and think about commercial applications. I think you have a product that you possibly could market and sell. Don’t know how this begins but I think you want to go. Probably speak with a lawyer perhaps

@Zion
Thanks! I’ll have a think about it!
