If it’s similar to the Big Agnes chairs with the aluminum hub, it could be a decent option. I have the Mica Basin Camp Chair, and it’s really comfy.
Skip the chair and go with a sit pad. Much lighter and more versatile for backpacking.

I’ll second this. Decathlon has a sit pad that’s surprisingly good for the price.
I have a Helinox chair, but I rarely bring it unless it’s a super relaxed trip with lots of time at camp. Even then, sitting in it feels awkward after a while—it bends my hips too much. Not the best for long-term comfort.

That’s surprising. I have the Chair Two and can recline pretty comfortably. Are you sure you’re setting it up right?

Haha, yeah, I’m setting it up right! It just feels like I’m folded in half when I sit. Even stretching my legs out doesn’t help much.
I’d recommend the Helinox Chair Zero, Nemo Moonlite Elite, or REI Flexlite Air.
Personally, I’ve used the Chair Zero High Back and the Chair Zero Large, and the larger one is the most stable. If you want comfort and stability, it’s a great choice.
I own both the Helinox Chair Zero and the Nemo Moonlite Elite. The Helinox is lighter by a few grams, comfortable, but fragile on soft ground.
The Nemo is sturdier, adjustable, and the bag doubles as a foot anchor for soft soil. If you’re considering the Nemo, watch for sales—REI often discounts it around spring. Helinox customer support is great; they replaced a broken leg for me without hassle.
Seat height matters a lot for me. Between these, I’d choose the Nemo Moonlite. However, in this price range, I actually prefer the Big Agnes UL Chair. It sits higher and more upright, which I find more comfortable.
If it’s between the Helinox and Nemo, I’d go with the Helinox. The Nemo is narrower, and its reclining straps can be a weak point.
For taller or bigger folks, or anyone with flexibility issues, the Big Agnes chair might be a better option despite the slight weight increase.
If you’re a bigger person, the Big Agnes Skyline chair is a solid choice. I have both Helinox ultralight chairs and the Big Agnes. While the Big Agnes is a bit heavier, it’s sturdier, more comfortable, and sits higher off the ground.
