I feel like I owe a tanooki a ton of bells and my fruit isn’t ripe yet.
it really is almost a replica, isn’t it?

oh my gosh haha, well i hope we both have a good experience with this tent!
Beautiful looking tent. I love the look of A frames but there’s many reasons why the shape of tents have changed through the years. Beyond A frames being heavy, they’re also not very ergonomic at all. Unless you’re sitting or laying directly in the middle of the tent, they tend to feel small and confined.
@Oaklan
gosh, yeah. it’s partly the reason why i’m so interested in this tent. it’s got an internal height of 5 feet with a 7’5" square floor, so sitting in it won’t be too bad (is my guess anyways). i only wish i knew more of the company, whether or not it’s a well-made product, that sort of thing.
@Shannon
That doesn’t seem big. Personally I don’t like tents without vestibules as it’s nice for gear storage and getting your boots in before going outside
My girlfriend and I have one very similar, just for car camping and we love it. It’s extremely roomy. We’re both tall people and we can stand up inside.

this is very reassuring, as my husband is 6 ft tall. i myself am petite, so it’s him that i want to make sure fits in this tent lol
@Shannon
Hell like it! We’re both over 6ft feet and we’re very comfortable in it.
omg, I’m so grateful that you posted this. I was literally just thinking about this tent — a few years ago I saw this tent and it kicked off my camping obsession. I never ended up getting it but I do think that having a really cute tent is key to enjoying camping
Looks like a good place to set a bear on fire.
What way, that sounds very ambiguous

oh sorry, i use a lot of slang. what i meant to say is that i find it very beautiful (which is a weird thing to say about gear, i recognize)
but i was wondering if anyone knows anything about the quality of their stuff, since i can’t seem to find many reviews on the brand itself
@Shannon
I have a crush on this tent as well, you’re not alone

thank you. i’m starting to feel like i should probably delete this post though, since it’s getting a lot of downvotes.
is asking about brands not encouraged in this sub?? i’m very new. i read the sub rules and i thought this complied, but maybe it doesn’t?
@Shannon
Don’t let downvotes discourage you (even though they feel crappy). You didn’t do anything wrong and it’s a really cute tent. If you’re car camping, I’m sure it won’t be a problem. The important thing is that you enjoy your time outdoors with it!
@Oakley
thank you kindly. i just want to make sure i buy a good product that will last me several camping trips. our tent is a small 2 person ozark trail tent my husband bought more than a decade ago and we quickly realized on our last camping trip that we should upgrade if we want to be comfortable, so i’ve been browsing all sorts of tents since. again, thank you for your reassurance <3 i was starting to think i broke an unspoken rule!
@Shannon
We still have a 6 person Ozark from 2010 that’s going strong. I’ve waterproofed it a few times but this thing is indestructible! We’re retiring it to get an 8 person since our family has grown and we want some extra space. Might try coleman this time around.
It looks like a nice sturdy tent, and I love the classic look of A frames personally. As long as the company has a decent warranty, I think it’s a great idea to try it out.
@Shannon
This sub kinda baffles me, honestly. It can be a little “too cool”, which I’ve never associated with camping, lol
