Anybody got a rec for a massive double sleeping bag?

Just bought a marmot idlewild 30 doublewide and its too small in every direction for us (6’4 and 5’11). looking for something in the 20 to 30 degree range.
Decided on two nemo Disco 15’s that were on “sale”. Boy that escalated quickly from my ole $50 slumberjack

Get two singles that zip together.

For Nemo their male and female are just left zip right zip variants so they’ll zip together.

Teton stuff is great theyre labeled left zip and right zip

the nemo bags look pretty cozy

@Briar
They’re great. I love mine. If your in a car you can get away with much cheaper though and probably just as good minus the weight

Kelty double wide.

I have an ALPS double sleeping bag that is very roomy and cozy.

I have the Teton Bridger in the Mammoth size, in both Left-Hand and Right-Hand versions. Each one by itself is enormous. Zip them together, and one could sleep 3 adults or a family of four. It comes with a decent carry bag. It is very cozy.

One bag perfectly fits the full width of the Outfitter XXL cot with pivot arm. This is the best cot that I have ever owned. I have had mine about ten years.

The mat I use is the Outfitter XXL. Mine is about 20 years old, purchased through Cabelas.

I dry camp out of a pickup or a sedan. Space is not a concern. I am in my fifties. Unlike when I was a teen, I can no longer sleep just anywhere. My hips develop an ache that keeps me awake, especially when it is cold. The combination of that cot, mattress, and sleeping bag are what I have found provides enough comfort for a decent night of sleep.

Ditch the double bag and either each get your own or go with blankets. All the double bags I have seen are crqp

Skip the double bag and get a king size down comforter.

Double down quilt will do the job as well.

I have a Nemo Disco 15 and love it. I am a sleeping bag skeptic because I hate the feeling of being confined but it was roomy enough. I’m a side sleeper and usually have a pillow tucked under my arm. I was able to use a small “toddler” pillow inside my bag comfortably.

Don’t. She’ll leave you.
